This is one of my fav songs...sometimes life can just be so tough and theres so much going on, we feel so hurt and alone. It feels like there is this huge storm raging against us and all we are doin is swimming against the current (hmmm i seem to have mixed my metaphors but you get the picture).
It always amazes me that when these times come there are 2 things we can do...we can stand or we can fold...it takes alot of courage, tenasity and faith to stand and fight but it is so easy to fold. There is such relief, joy and growth that comes from facing storms head on...
One of my fav verses in the bible is 'though i WALK through the valley of the shadow of death' it doesnt say 'though i have taken up camp in the valley of the shadow of death.' When the hard times come, when it seems that people and circumstance rage against us we are to WALK on not sit and wollow...God wont abide with our wollowing but He will come alongside our walking on and fighting through...
My football team Liverpool FC's team song is 'You'll never walk alone' I love this song...part of the song goes like this...

We are never ever walking alone though any circumstance of life...Jesus is with us, leading us, strengthening us....but we too have to keep walking through...
